MRI DEPARTMENT

At Toledo Orthopaedic Surgeons, our MRI center is dedicated to providing services for our Orthopaedic patients only. Our magnetic resonance imaging system allows our physicians to study the soft tissue structures near and around the bones in the body.  These images assist in making diagnosis of the bone, joint, muscle, tendons, ligaments and spine.

Our MRI scanner is a .3T Hitachi AIRIS II with the latest software available.  It is an open scanner in order to provide a comfortable experience for all patients, but especially those who are claustrophobic.

After the MRI scan is complete, it is interpreted by radiologists who are certified by the American College of Radiology, that have completed a fellowship in Orthopedic Imaging.  The MRI technologists are credentialed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in MRI.

Our facility is accredited by the American College of Radiology for musculoskeletal and spine imaging.  We accept most insurances and pre-certify exams prior to scheduling your procedure.

The MRI center at Toledo Orthopaedic Surgeons is open Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Wednesday and Thursday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Friday from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm.
